Saadia Faruqi is a Pakistani American author, interfaith activist, and cultural sensitivity trainer based in Houston, Texas. She has written over 25 books for children and adults, including the critically acclaimed children's book series, "Yasmin!" which follows the adventures of a Pakistani American girl. Faruqi's writing often explores themes of diversity, identity, and belonging, drawing on her own experiences as a Muslim woman in America. In addition to writing, Faruqi also conducts workshops and trainings on cultural sensitivity and diversity, and has been featured in various media outlets for her work promoting cross-cultural understanding.
