Saadia Faruqi is a Pakistani American author, interfaith activist, and cultural sensitivity trainer based in Houston, Texas. She has written over 25 books for children and adults, including the critically acclaimed children's book series, "Yasmin!" which follows the adventures of a Pakistani American girl.
