Pedro for President

Fran Manushkin is an award-winning children's book author who has written over 70 books. She was born and raised in Chicago and has always had a passion for writing. After attending college at the University of Illinois, she worked as a newspaper reporter before transitioning to writing children's books. She is best known for her popular Katie Woo series, which has been translated into multiple languages and has sold over 2 million copies. Tammie Lyon is the talented illustrator behind Pedro for President. She has illustrated over 40 children's books and has worked with many top publishers. Lyon is known for her bright and lively illustrations that bring stories to life. She currently lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband and two children. Together, Manushkin and Lyon make a dynamic duo in the world of children's literature.
