Creator Bio
Stephen Shaskan is an award-winning author and illustrator based in Minnesota. With a background in graphic design and animation, he brings a unique visual style to his writing and illustrations. Shaskan has published numerous picture books for children, including "Toad on the Road: A Cautionary Tale" and "Big Choo," which was named a Bank Street Best Children's Book of the Year. In addition to his own work, Shaskan also collaborates with his wife, Trisha Speed Shaskan, on children's books. When he's not creating imaginative stories and illustrations, Shaskan enjoys playing in a band with his wife and teaching art to elementary students.
