Creator Bio
Grace Lin is an award-winning author and illustrator who has written and illustrated many beloved children's books. She was born in upstate New York to Taiwanese immigrant parents and spent her childhood immersed in both Taiwanese and American cultures. Lin drew inspiration from her own experiences growing up in a multicultural family to create her Pacy Lin series, which follows a young Chinese-American girl navigating her cultural identity. In addition to writing and illustrating, Lin is also a speaker and advocate for diversity in children's literature. She currently resides in Massachusetts with her husband and two children.
