Alice Oseman is a British author and illustrator known for her young adult novels and graphic novels. She was born in 1994 and grew up in Kent, England. Oseman began writing and drawing her own stories at a young age and self-published her first novel, Solitaire, at just 17 years old. In 2016, she released her first graphic novel, Heartstopper, which follows the love story between two teenage boys. The series gained a large following and has been published in over 20 languages. Oseman is known for her honest and relatable portrayal of young love and LGBTQ+ themes in her work. She continues to write, illustrate, and inspire readers with her heartfelt stories.
