Dav Pilkey is a renowned children's book author and illustrator, best known for his popular Captain Underpants series and the recently released Hombre Perro (Dog Man) series. Pilkey was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and from a young age, he was always interested in drawing and writing. After being diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD, Pilkey turned to creating comics as a way to express himself. His first book, World War Won, was published in 1986 and since then, he has gone on to write and illustrate over 60 books, which have sold millions of copies worldwide.
