George O'Connor is an American author and illustrator known for his critically acclaimed graphic novel series, Olympians. Born in New Jersey, O'Connor developed a passion for mythology and comic books at a young age. He studied both illustration and mythology at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and went on to work in the comic book industry. In 2009, he published the first installment of his Olympians series, Zeus: King of the Gods, which received widespread praise for its unique blend of history and art. O'Connor continues to create engaging and visually stunning graphic novels, including Ares: Bringer of War, as well as traveling to schools and libraries to share his love of mythology and storytelling with young readers.
