When Vonceil's older brother, Elber, comes home to their family's Oklahoma farm after serving on the front lines of World War I, things aren't what she expects. She has written and illustrated numerous graphic novels, including "Mercury" and "Compass South." Rebecca Mock is an illustrator, comic artist, and animator based in Brooklyn, New York. She has worked on various projects for companies like The New Yorker, The New York Times, and Penguin Random House.
