Gareth Hinds is an American artist and author known for his graphic novel adaptations of classic literature. He was born in Maryland and studied illustration at the Parsons School of Design in New York. Hinds has received numerous awards for his work, including the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award for The Odyssey and the Printz Honor for The Iliad.
