Emma Steinkellner is an author and illustrator based in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City with a BFA in Illustration. Her work has been featured in various publications, including The New Yorker and The New York Times. In addition to writing and illustrating, Steinkellner also teaches comics and illustration at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art. The Okay Witch and the Hungry Shadow is her second graphic novel, following the success of her debut book, The Okay Witch. Steinkellner is known for her whimsical and heartfelt storytelling, as well as her vibrant and expressive illustrations.
