Emily Carroll is a Canadian author and illustrator best known for her work in the horror and fantasy genres. Raised in London, Ontario, she has been drawing and creating comics since she was a child. After graduating from Sheridan College's animation program, Carroll began publishing her work online and gained a large following for her dark and eerie storytelling style. She has been recognized for her unique and haunting visual approach, winning numerous awards including the Eisner Award for Best Digital Comic in 2015.
