Jane Yolen is a highly acclaimed author and editor who has written over 365 books for children, young adults, and adults. She is best known for her fantasy and science fiction works, as well as her many picture books. Yolen has won numerous awards for her writing, including the Caldecott Medal, the Nebula Award, and the World Fantasy Award. She is also a respected teacher and mentor, having taught writing at various universities and workshops. Heidi E. Y. Stemple is an accomplished author and editor as well, with over 30 books to her name. She often collaborates with her mother, Jane Yolen, on writing projects. Jieting Chen is an illustrator who has worked on multiple children's books, including We Celebrate the Light with Yolen and Stemple. She brings a unique blend of Eastern and Western art styles to her illustrations. Together, these three talented individuals have created a beautiful and heartwarming book that celebrates the joy and wonder of the holiday season.
