Tony Diterlizzi is an American author and illustrator, best known for his work on the popular children's book series, The Spiderwick Chronicles. Born in Los Angeles, California, Diterlizzi showed a passion for art and storytelling from a young age. He attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, where he honed his skills in illustration. Diterlizzi has won numerous awards for his work, including the Caldecott Honor and the Hugo Award for his illustrations. He continues to create imaginative and captivating stories for young readers, including his latest book, Kenny & the Dragon. Diterlizzi currently lives in Amherst, Massachusetts with his wife and daughter.
