Creator Bio
Carole Lindstrom is an award-winning Ojibwe author and poet who has published several children's books, including "We Are Grateful: Otsaliheliga" and "Girls Dance, Boys Fiddle." She is passionate about sharing Indigenous stories and empowering young readers to connect with their heritage. Bridget George is a Métis illustrator and graphic designer, known for her vibrant and whimsical illustrations. She has illustrated numerous children's books, including "The First Flute" and "A Girl Called Echo." Autumn Peltier is an Anishinaabe water protector and activist, who at only 17 years old, has become a prominent voice for clean water and environmental justice. Together, Lindstrom, George, and Peltier have collaborated to create "Autumn Peltier, Water Warrior," a powerful and inspiring book that highlights Peltier's journey and message.
