Gege Akutami is a Japanese manga artist and author best known for creating the popular series Jujutsu Kaisen. Born in 1992 in Tokyo, Japan, Akutami began drawing manga at a young age and was heavily inspired by the works of Shonen Jump artists. In 2017, Akutami made his debut as a professional manga artist with the one-shot "Sarada Shoujo Shounen" which was later included in the Shonen Jump+ app. He then went on to create Jujutsu Kaisen, which has gained immense popularity and has been adapted into an anime series.
