Alice Oseman is a young British author, illustrator, and comic artist. She gained fame at the age of 17 when she began posting her webcomic, "Heartstopper," on Tumblr. This comic, which explores themes of friendship, love, and identity, has amassed a huge following and has been published in print by Hachette Children's Group. Oseman's debut novel, "Solitaire," was published in 2014 when she was just 19 years old. Since then, she has written several more novels, including "Radio Silence" and "I Was Born for This." Oseman's writing often focuses on LGBTQ+ characters and their experiences, and she has become a prominent voice in the YA community. She continues to write and illustrate, and her work has been translated into multiple languages.
