Andrea Tsurumi is an award-winning author and illustrator based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has a background in graphic design and has worked for clients such as The New York Times, Google, and Nickelodeon. Tsurumi's illustrations are known for their vibrant colors, whimsical characters, and clever storytelling. She has written and illustrated several picture books, including her debut book Accident!, which received critical acclaim and was named a Junior Library Guild Selection. Tsurumi's work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, and the Art Directors Club. When she's not creating art, Tsurumi enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
