Kazu Kibuishi is an award-winning author and illustrator known for his popular graphic novel series, Amulet. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Kibuishi moved to the United States with his family at a young age. He grew up drawing and creating stories, and eventually attended college at the University of California, Santa Barbara where he studied film and illustration. Kibuishi's unique blend of fantasy and adventure has captivated readers of all ages, making Amulet a New York Times bestseller and earning him numerous accolades and awards. In addition to his work on Amulet, Kibuishi has also illustrated covers for the Harry Potter series and has written and illustrated several other graphic novels. He currently resides in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and children.
