Kazu Kibuishi is a Japanese-American graphic novelist and illustrator best known for his work on the popular Amulet series. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Kibuishi moved to the United States at a young age and grew up in California. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he studied film and animation. Kibuishi's passion for storytelling and art led him to create the Amulet series, which has become a New York Times bestselling graphic novel series.
