Dav Pilkey is a beloved American author and illustrator, best known for his popular children's book series, Dog Man and Captain Underpants. Born on March 4, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio, Pilkey struggled with dyslexia and ADHD as a child, which greatly influenced his love for drawing and storytelling.
