Creator Bio
Grace Lin is an award-winning author and illustrator who has written and illustrated many books for children, including picture books, early readers, and middle grade novels. Born in upstate New York to Taiwanese parents, Lin draws inspiration from her own cultural heritage and experiences to create diverse and relatable stories for young readers. Her books have been translated into multiple languages and have received numerous accolades, including the Newbery Honor and the Caldecott Honor. In addition to writing and illustrating, Lin is also a speaker and advocate for diversity in literature, promoting the importance of representation and representation in children's books. She currently resides in Massachusetts with her husband and daughter.
