Judd Winick is a renowned author, illustrator, and cartoonist, best known for creating the award-winning comic series "Hilo." With a background in animation, he has worked on numerous animated shows, including "The Batman," "The Adventures of Pete and Pete," and "Clone High." Winick's career in comics began with his appearance on the third season of the MTV reality show "The Real World," which he used as inspiration for his first graphic novel, "Pedro and Me," about his friendship with castmate Pedro Zamora who died of AIDS.
