Roz Chast is a New York Times bestselling author and cartoonist. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Chast attended the Rhode Island School of Design and began her career in cartooning in the 1970s. She is best known for her humorous and often absurd cartoons that have been featured in The New Yorker for over 40 years. Chast has also published numerous books, including Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant? which won the National Book Critics Circle Award for Autobiography in 2014. She continues to live and work in New York City, where her witty and distinctive illustrations continue to entertain and delight readers.
