Nidhi Chanani is an award-winning illustrator and author based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born in Calcutta, India, Chanani moved to the United States as a young child and grew up in Southern California. She graduated from the California College of Arts with a degree in animation and worked in the gaming industry before becoming a full-time freelance illustrator and writer. Her work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Huffington Post, and Buzzfeed. Jukebox is her first graphic novel, which she wrote and illustrated. Chanani is known for her vibrant and colorful illustrations that celebrate diversity and tell heartwarming stories. She continues to create art and write stories that inspire and bring joy to readers of all ages.
