Andrea Abi-Karam and Kay Gabriel are both accomplished poets and activists in the LGBTQ+ community. Abi-Karam is a Palestinian-American genderqueer poet and performer, whose work often explores themes of identity, trauma, and resistance. They have published multiple collections of poetry, including "EXTRATRANSMISSION" and "Villainy". Gabriel is a trans poet and essayist, whose work delves into issues of queerness, desire, and language. They have published chapbooks such as "Elegy Department Spring", and their work has been featured in numerous publications. Together, Abi-Karam and Gabriel have co-edited "We Want It All: An Anthology of Radical Trans Poetics", showcasing the powerful voices and diverse perspectives of trans poets. Their work is deeply rooted in activism and pushing the boundaries of traditional poetic forms.
