Nicole Melleby is an award-winning author whose passion for storytelling began at a young age. Growing up in New Jersey, she spent her childhood exploring the woods and creating magical worlds in her backyard. She went on to study creative writing and literature at Fairleigh Dickinson University and has since published multiple books for young readers. Her writing often explores themes of identity, family, and mental health, drawing from her own personal experiences. In addition to writing, Nicole is also a writing instructor and has a Master's degree in education. She currently resides in New Jersey with her family and their rescue dog, Winnie.
