Kat Zhang and Charlene Chua are the dynamic duo behind the heartwarming children's book, Amy Wu and the Lantern Festival. Zhang is a Chinese-American author who grew up in Michigan and currently resides in San Francisco. She has always been passionate about writing and published her first book, What's Left of Me, at the young age of 19. Since then, she has written several young adult novels and continues to explore different genres and themes in her writing. Chua, on the other hand, is an award-winning illustrator and graphic designer based in Canada. She has worked with various clients and her work has been featured in numerous publications. Together, Zhang and Chua bring to life the colorful and festive world of Amy Wu and the Lantern Festival, a celebration of Chinese culture and family traditions.
