Grace Lin is an award-winning author and illustrator of children's books. She was born in New York City and grew up in upstate New York. Lin's parents immigrated from Taiwan, and their cultural background heavily influenced her writing and artwork. She studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and has since published over 20 books, including the popular "Pacy Lin" series which follows a young Taiwanese-American girl navigating her cultural identity. Lin's books have been translated into multiple languages and have received numerous awards and recognition, making her a highly respected and influential figure in the world of children's literature.
