Our sweet shop turns seven this fall! If you love what we do here at our joyful, affirming, inclusive bookstore for all readers, will your family or business please help us sustain our free programming?

Perhaps you didn't know that since 2019, we ...

• 😷 Survived a global pandemic mere months after opening(!).
  
• 🎟️ Produce more than 150 free events each year for young readers and their caretakers, including four monthly book clubs and twice-weekly baby groups & storytimes.
  
• 🏫 Assist educators and nonprofits across New England with curating book collections that reflect their diverse, deserving communities.
  
• 💸 Have given away tens of thousands in book and merchandise donations to local schools, organizations, and community groups.
  
• ✍🏼 Have hosted and uplifted hundreds of authors, illustrators, and kidlit luminaries in pursuit of our mission:
  
  To joyfully connect kids, families, and educators with awesome and inclusive books that represent the world around them—and the world that just might be.

But: This continued economic downturn is thwarting our efforts to provide book joy for all families, at as little cost possible.

And we're just not ready to give up.
