Grace Lin is an award-winning author and illustrator known for her diverse and thought-provoking children's books. Born in New York City to Taiwanese immigrant parents, she grew up in Upstate New York and eventually attended the Rhode Island School of Design. Her passion for storytelling and art led her to write and illustrate over 20 books, including the Newbery Honor book Where the Mountain Meets the Moon. Lin's works often explore themes of identity, culture, and family, drawing inspiration from her own experiences as a Chinese-American. She has received numerous accolades for her work, and continues to inspire young readers with her engaging stories and vibrant illustrations.
