Jarrett J. Krosoczka is an American author and illustrator best known for his children's book series, Platypus Police Squad. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts and has been drawing since he was a child. Krosoczka's love for storytelling and art led him to attend the Rhode Island School of Design where he graduated in 1998. He has since written and illustrated over 20 books, including the popular Lunch Lady graphic novel series. Krosoczka's books have won numerous awards and have been translated into multiple languages. He currently lives in western Massachusetts with his wife and children.
