Ben Gundersheimer, also known as Mister G, is an American musician, songwriter, and children's author. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he developed a love for music at a young age and went on to study music and education at Amherst College. After working as a teacher and musician in the United States, he moved to Mexico where he was inspired to create bilingual music and books for children. His lively and educational songs have won him numerous awards, including three Latin Grammy nominations. His passion for celebrating diversity and language has led him to create the bilingual English-Spanish edition of Señorita Mariposa, co-authored with Mexican illustrator Marcos Almada Rivero.
