Tony DiTerlizzi is an American author and illustrator known for his imaginative and fantastical works. Born in California, DiTerlizzi discovered his love for drawing at a young age and pursued it into adulthood, attending the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. He has since illustrated numerous children's books, including the bestselling Spiderwick Chronicles series, which he co-created with Holly Black. In addition to his work as an illustrator, DiTerlizzi has also written and illustrated his own original stories, such as the New York Times bestselling WondLa trilogy.
