Adam Gidwitz and Hugh D'Andrade are the dynamic duo behind the popular children's book, A Tale Dark & Grimm. Adam, originally from Baltimore, Maryland, is a former teacher who fell in love with storytelling while teaching in Brooklyn, New York. His passion for folktales and fairytales led him to write his first book, A Tale Dark & Grimm, which became a New York Times bestseller. Hugh, on the other hand, is an illustrator and designer based in San Francisco, California. With a background in punk rock and a love for comic books, Hugh's unique style perfectly complements Adam's dark and humorous retellings of classic fairytales. Together, they have created a series of books that captivate young readers with their thrilling and twisted adventures.
