Stacey Abrams is a renowned American politician, lawyer, and author. Born in Wisconsin in 1973, she spent most of her childhood in Mississippi before attending college at Spelman and Yale Law School. After working as a tax attorney, Abrams entered politics and made history in 2010 by becoming the first woman to lead a major party in the Georgia General Assembly.
