Since 2019, our intrepid High Five Books team has created a joyful, affirming, inclusive community space for all families. Can you help us keep going?

We survived a global pandemic mere months after opening. We produce more than 150 free events each year for young readers and their caretakers. We assist educators and nonprofits across New England to curate book collections that reflect their deserving communities. We've given away thousands in book and merchandise donations. And we've hosted hundreds of authors, illustrators, and kidlit luminaries in pursuit of our mission: 

To joyfully connect kids, families, and educators with awesome and inclusive books that represent the world around them—and the world that just might be.

But: This continued economic downturn is thwarting our efforts to provide book joy widely, for as little as possible.
