Chris Colfer is an American actor, singer, and author best known for his role as Kurt Hummel on the hit television show Glee. Born in 1990 in Clovis, California, Colfer showed an interest in performing from a young age, participating in local community theater productions. He went on to attend the University of Southern California's School of Dramatic Arts before being cast in Glee at the age of 18. In addition to his successful acting career, Colfer is also an accomplished author, having written several New York Times bestselling books for children and young adults, including the Land of Stories series and A Tale of Magic... which explores themes of courage, friendship, and standing up for what is right.
