Kat Zhang is a Chinese-American author who grew up in Michigan and currently resides in New York City. She has always had a passion for writing and storytelling, and began writing her first novel at the young age of 12. She went on to study creative writing at Vanderbilt University and began her career as an author with her debut novel, What's Left of Me, at the age of 19. Since then, she has written several young adult novels including The Hybrid Chronicles and The Third Twin. Charlene Chua is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Canada. She has illustrated numerous children's books and her work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators and the American Illustration Annual. Together, Zhang and Chua have collaborated on the heartwarming and humorous picture book, Amy Wu and the Perfect Bao.
