She grew up in Montreal and studied at the University of Quebec in Montreal before pursuing a career in illustration. Her unique style combines a mix of traditional and digital techniques to create vibrant and humorous illustrations. Watt has written and illustrated numerous popular picture books, including the Scaredy Squirrel series and Chester.
