Creator Bio
Dana Alison Levy is an award-winning author who has been writing for children and young adults for over a decade. She has a degree in English literature from Wesleyan University and a master's degree in secondary education from the University of Pennsylvania. Her passion for storytelling and her love for children's literature led her to become a middle school English teacher before pursuing a career in writing full-time. In addition to The Family Fletcher Takes Rock Island, she is also the author of The Misadventures of the Family Fletcher, This Would Make a Good Story Someday, and It Was Never Going to Be Okay. Levy lives in New England with her husband, two daughters, and their dog. When she's not writing, she can be found hiking, baking, or playing board games with her family.
