Ortega is a Puerto Rican-American YA author, known for her debut novel Ghost Squad, which was named a Best Book of 2020 by NPR. She is also a freelance writer and editor, as well as a creator of spooky and whimsical content on her YouTube channel. Bousamraw is a Lebanese-Canadian writer, known for her short stories and poetry which have been featured in various literary magazines. Together, they use their diverse backgrounds and passion for storytelling to create compelling and diverse narratives, including their latest collaboration, Frizzy.
