Kelly Yang is an award-winning author, speaker, and activist. Born in China, she immigrated to the United States at a young age and experienced firsthand the struggles of being an immigrant in a new country. This inspired her to become a voice for immigrant and minority communities, and she has used her platform to advocate for social justice issues. Yang is also a lawyer, and her diverse background and experiences have shaped her writing, which often explores themes of identity, family, and the immigrant experience. She is the author of the highly acclaimed Front Desk series, including the sequel Three Keys. Yang currently resides in California with her family.
