Bellen Woodard is an author and illustrator who is passionate about diversity and inclusion in children's literature. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design and has worked as a freelance artist for various clients, including Hallmark and American Greetings. Her debut picture book, More Than Peach, was inspired by her own experiences as a woman of color and her desire to see more representation in the media for children. Bellen's unique and vibrant illustrations bring her stories to life, while also promoting important messages of self-love and acceptance. She currently resides in California with her husband and two children.
