Mother’s Day Story Tile Workshop with Local Artist Anna Alter

Kids and caregivers are invited to join children’s book creator and ceramic artist Anna Alter for a hands-on workshop where you will design and illustrate your own ceramic tile, fired in time for Mother’s Day.

On Sunday, April 26, 10am-12:30pm, Anna will demonstrate several surface design techniques that participants ages 8+ can use with clay (sgraffito, underglaze painting, stamping), and then guide you through creating your very own handmade tile to gift or hang on your wall.

• All supplies provided, just bring your ideas! 
• Your finished tile will be ready for pick up the first week of May, before Mother's Day
• Dress for mess

• Ages 8 and up
