Creator Bio
Grace Lin is a New York Times bestselling author and illustrator who has written and illustrated many award-winning children's books. Born and raised in upstate New York, she studied illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design before moving to Massachusetts where she currently resides. Lin draws inspiration from her Asian heritage and aims to create stories that celebrate diversity and promote cultural understanding. In addition to writing and illustrating, she also teaches drawing and writing workshops for children. Lin's work has been recognized by prestigious organizations such as the Caldecott Honor and the Newbery Medal. With her enchanting storytelling and vibrant artwork, she continues to captivate young readers around the world.
