Victoria Jamieson is an award-winning graphic novelist and illustrator. She was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where she spent most of her childhood roller skating and playing ice hockey. After earning a degree in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design, Jamieson pursued a career in children's book illustration. Her debut graphic novel, Roller Girl, was a New York Times bestseller and received numerous accolades, including a Newbery Honor and an Eisner Award. In addition to writing and illustrating, Jamieson also enjoys teaching and visiting schools to share her love of storytelling and art with young readers.
