Quarterly, Team High Five tries to schedule an afternoon offsite with treats to relax, restore, and reconnect with one another. (Our team grows from 4 to 8 staff throughout each year, depending on the season.)
Sometimes, togetherness looks like cheers-ing one another over coffee. Other times, we create joyful experiences by patronizing other small businesses.
Some of our memorable staff outings have looked like:

⭐️ creating our own custom tea blends at a neighborhood apothecary
⭐️ boogying together at a beloved nonprofit's fundraiser dance
⭐️ painting ceramics at a nearby potter's studio

⭐️ trekking to a kidlit retreat center to reflect on our team wins and wishes
