The Digger and the Duckling

Joseph Kuefler is an author and illustrator known for his imaginative and heartwarming children's books. He grew up in Minnesota and developed a love for storytelling and drawing at a young age. After studying illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design, Kuefler worked as a graphic designer before pursuing his passion for writing and illustrating books for young readers. His debut picture book, "Beyond the Pond," was a New York Times Notable Children's Book and his subsequent books, including "The Digger and the Duckling," have received critical acclaim and numerous awards. He currently lives in Minneapolis with his family, where he continues to create captivating stories and illustrations for children.
