Karina Yan Glaser is a New York Times bestselling author known for her heartwarming and relatable middle-grade novels. Born in California and raised in Texas, Glaser spent much of her childhood reading and writing. She went on to study literature and creative writing at Macalester College and Columbia University, and later worked as a journalist and editor in various publications. Her debut novel, The Vanderbeekers of 141st Street, was named a Best Book of 2017 by Publishers Weekly and has since been followed by six more books in the series. Glaser currently lives in Harlem, New York City with her family, where she continues to write and inspire young readers with her delightful and charming stories.
