Sophie Escabasse is a French-American author and illustrator, best known for her debut graphic novel, Witches of Brooklyn. Growing up in France, she developed a passion for storytelling and art at a young age. She later moved to the United States and studied animation at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Escabasse's love for fantasy and magic is reflected in her work, and she is inspired by authors such as Roald Dahl and Neil Gaiman. When she is not creating imaginative worlds and characters, she enjoys exploring the city and spending time with her family. Witches of Brooklyn is her first published graphic novel and has been praised for its unique blend of humor, heart, and magic.
